University Program Assessment Committee

Purpose: 

To promote continuous improvement and enhancement of student learning by providing guidance, leadership and support for the development, assessment, improvement, and reporting of student learning outcomes in educational programs. The committee fulfills this charge by engaging in the following activities:

i.    identifying and championing best practices in learning outcome development and assessment
ii.    coordinating professional development of best practices 
iii.    facilitating meaningful discussions about assessment and learning improvement
iv.    regularly reviewing the institution’s assessment process to ensure it promotes the enhancement of student learning experiences and meets accreditation requirements
