Technology Advisory Committee

Purpose: 

The Technology Advisory Committee serves as the recommendatory board for the ongoing systematic development and advancement of academic and administrative computing resources in the context of the overall institutional planning process.

Roster Structure: 

Members of the Technology Advisory Committee should be campus leadership who have a high-level view of University goals and long-term strategies, have the authority to obtain and commit department resources to achieve those goals and are ultimately accountable to the success of that investment. The Technology Advisory Committee will have no more than 5-10 members (ideally 7) as this will allow for more rapid decision making while still ensuring that all appropriate functions are represented. Membership should include executive leaders from the different divisions of the campus and COL:  Chief Financial Officer, Provost, Associate Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Student Access & Success, College of Law Executive Leadership, and the Office of Information Technology. The Executive Admin will serve as the organizer of the meeting and will have no voting rights. The ITSS Director of Student Administration Systems and the OIT Director of IT Operations will also have no voting rights.
