SHS Advisory Council

Programs within the School of Human Services seek to align with and fulfill employer’s needs for competent, high-performing, individuals with skills relevant to the professional sector. The Advisory Council and subsequent advisory committees are essential to guiding, strengthening, and improving SHS programs bringing a wealth of expertise, networking relationships, and scholarly insight. NOTE: Each program will have a sub-committee made up of participants listed below.

Once a year with committee meetings once a semester

SHS Dean

Relevant in the community as stated in the 2016-2018 strategic plan

Meets 1 to 2 times per year, at least once in the Fall. Spring meeting will be for each program’s advisory committee.
