What is a Bachelor of Social Work at UNT Dallas?

The BSW program is designed in alignment with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) standards to prepare students for generalist social work practice. Delivered fully online, the program blends high-quality virtual coursework with a required supervised field practicum in your own community, giving you both professional knowledge and real-world experience.

Students explore areas such as:

  • Human behavior across the lifespan

The required practicum allows you to apply classroom learning directly in professional settings—such as schools, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations—wherever you live.
