    Counseling and Wellness

    The Office of the Dean of Students will offer wellness programming throughout the school year. Programming will focus on fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, relationships, and emotional wellness.

    Counseling

    Full-Time and Part-Time Students have access to free mental health counseling services. While Law students generally utilize the counselling services provided at the College of Law, as members of the UNT Dallas Community, our Law students can also access resources through the UNT Dallas Counseling and Wellness Center. 

    In the event of a mental health crisis or emergency please call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Center at (214) 828-1000 or (800) 273-8255, or go the hospital.

    Texas Lawyers' Assistance Program (TLAP)

    TLAP provides confidential help for lawyers, law students and judges who have problems with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Law students may call TLAP at any time of the day or night and may call anonymously if they wish to do so.

    T.Boone Pickens YMCA

    The T. Boone Pickens YMCA, 601 N. Akard, Dallas, TX 75201, located at the corner of Akard and San Jacinto, has partnered with the UNT Dallas College of Law to extend to students individual membership at the rate of $36 per month.
